Why was I charged twice when purchasing through the website?Updated a month ago

What you could be seeing is a duplicate charge as an authorisation. To ensure that sufficient funds are available, banks commonly employ an authorisation hold for card transactions - this involves authorisating and validating funds for electronic transactions using a debit or credit card. 

Casual reminder that card payments typically take 3-5 business days to clear. Similar to contactless payments, where a payment may remain in a ‘pending’ state for a few days before the amount is officially deducted from your account. 

If, after 5 business days, you notice that both transactions are listed as approved, please notify our Community Happiness Team so that we can investigate this further.
